Beginnings

Deaf Pastor Jeff Jordan was called to start a Deaf church in the Atlanta area in 1997. The needs have changed to reach more Deaf members who are isolated across the Southern Union: North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, and Georgia. Southern Deaf Fellowship was organized as the first Deaf Church of Seventh-day Adventist on April 9, 2005.

The Website

The idea of an internet based ministry was developed out of this need to reach the many Deaf who desire to receive God’s word in their native language, American Sign language. The website implements current use of technology to meet the changing needs of our church area wide.

Currently you may watch sermons in ASL.
