- The Battle Of Armageddon
THE KEY POINT OF THIS CHAPTER: If the Battle of Armageddon is a
spiritual war, then the battle will not be centered around literal
Israel as many believe. The focus of the Battle will be on Christ.
- What does the Bible say?
In end-time Bible prophecy we find the prediction of a great war
involving the whole world.
- Revelation 16:
- 14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles,
which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to
gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
- 15 Behold,
I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his
garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
- 16 And he gathered
them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.
Now notice who they war against. Is it the nation of Israel as we now
know it?
- Revelation 17:
- 13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and
strength unto the beast.
- 14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the
Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings:
and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
No, they war against the lamb. Christ the lamb, the end time Israel and
His people (spiritual Israel) are who they war against. Satan´s focus
of attach is against Christ and His people.
- Revelation 19:
- 11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and
he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness
he doth judge and make war.
- 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his
thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
- 19 And I saw the
beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together
to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
Christ the Lamb will come as the Rider-of-the-white-horse, the King of
Kings, and Lord of Lords. The focus of the whole earth will be on
Christ as He comes to set His people free by doing battle with Satan and his people.
